Israel will push on with its offensive against Hamas, including into the southern Gaza city of Rafah, despite growing international pressure to stop, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Thursday.
Netanyahu has vowed to destroy Hamas after its fighters attacked southern Israel on Oct. 7, killing 1,200 people and abducting 253, according to Israeli tallies. More than 30,000 people have been killed in Gaza during Israel’s subsequent offensive, Palestinian health authorities estimate, prompting worldwide criticism and condemnation.
“There is international pressure and it’s growing, but particularly when the international pressure rises, we must close ranks, we need to stand together against the attempts to stop the war,” he said.

You can’t “paradox of intolerance” this one as an argument to justify genocide you lunatic. Just because you heard something trendy in the Internet doesn’t mean it applies in all situations. It’s not a one-size-fits-all wrench to winning an argument - it just means you’re lazy and refuse to do any sort of critical thinking. By your logic, you can justify the murder of your neighbor because you feel that they are “intolerant” and you don’t agree with their political viewpoints.
Our species are literally the top of the food chain because we’re the most homicidal, genocidal species to ever exist. It is QUITE LITERALLY a one-size-fits-all approach. The weak die to make room for the strong. It happens to be that I’m a part of the strong society and I’m okay with that society striking back at a society that attacked them. It isn’t deep. I’m not claiming that I’m deep, or edgy…it’s all pretty simple. We’re violent. Violence happens. We’re not gonna change it, so why not look on the bright side? The bright side is an intolerant society is being gotten rid of for a more tolerant one.
I’ve done the critical thinking. This is the other side of the equation. I did the math. This is the answer. If I were in a more powerful position in society; say one where I could affect this AT ALL – I would do something different. But I’m not…so why stress myself about it?

Sorry, if anything I’ve come to hold these beliefs more strongly as I get older. I won’t look back at it and cringe, because it’s not cringeworthy. It’s an incredibly sad truth, that I wish were different. Humanity as a whole, sucks. Even the people here pretending they’re better than I am. They’re holding and using devices that rely on child slave labor to be produced, half the things they own are the result of others being taken advantage of. It’s kind of like being religious and becoming atheist. The world is just a little darker when you don’t have that belief system to hang onto. Some people REALLY need it. They can’t live without it.
