Note how the “social democrat” minister of the interior is following the fascists talking points in talking about a great “islamist danger”. She is trying to help the fascists in moving the focus away from the ever increasing, and far greater threat of fascist violence an terrorism in Germany. They also did the same exaggerating radical leftist violence.

The social democrats in Germany (SPD) is a party that moved from the center left to the right, with the conservative party (CDU) of former chancellor Merkel now having moved towards far-right populism/extremism.

The minister of the interior continues to ignore the threat of fascist infiltration and radicalisation in her police and intelligence forces. Racist attacky by police both on and off duty are downplayed, while every few months a “chat group” is uncovered with dozens of officers, including high ranking ones sharing nazi memes, calling for another holocaust or organizing stealing of weapons and creating “death lists” of political opponents to murder during a coup.

“Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.”

Sadly, it seems like people are remembering the past and eagerly trying to resuscitate it. I’m worried about the next decade in Europe

The more extreme you are, the more you damage your cause. Huge win for the right. Well done, idiot /s. Enjoy prison.

This is the best summary I could come up with:

German police have shot and wounded a man who injured six people in a knife attack on a rightwing demonstration in the south-western city of Mannheim.

Footage showed a bearded man wearing glasses attacking people in the city’s central Marktplatz.

One of those attacked was reported to be Michael Stürzenberger, a German far-right activist and blogger who had been due to speak at the rally organised by Pax Europa, a rightwing group that says it campaigns against the “increasing spread and influence of political Islam”.

A livestream broadcast from central Mannheim showed Stürzenberger preparing to address a small crowd at the event.

The federal interior minister, Nancy Faeser, a member of the Social Democratic party, said: “If investigations show an Islamist motive behind the attack, that would be yet another confirmation of the great danger posed by Islamist violence, which we have been warning about.”

Stürzenberger, 59, who describes himself as an Islam-critical journalist, has been a member of several far-right anti-Islam organisations including the Pegida movement, which holds regular marches, especially in eastern Germany.
