    Go to Spain instead! They have an extremely progressive government and wonderful places to visit!

        I know someone who almost died of a spider bite in Spain (I think in Barcelona?), please tell me this is super uncommon, I’d love to visit one day but am deathly afraid of spiders.

          (You should read this in an Aussie accent. A terrible one because I’m an American)

          (For the record, lethal/very dangerous bites are quite rare, and usually there’s antivenom handy unless your going off grid,)
