Please read the article first, it explicitly says he was handed the medal by infantino who allowed him to keep it. People making false claims on social media doesn’t mean articles talking about it are false.
Was the intent to let him have it, or did trump simply take it and then Infantino decided to let the issue go? One version is fine, the other is someone writing off trump being a thief to not make a big deal of it.
Infantino is just like Trump. He probably let Trump hold it because it was cool, then Trump either stole it, or let’s be honest, his drugged up dementia brain thought he just received a gift, and then Infantino thought “fuck it, it’s not my medal lmao”

The fact that we have to question which version it is says far more about Trump than whether or not he actually did simply confiscate it.
