I’m remixing the Ok Boomer to add changeable grip panels back as well as the grip safety. Anyone know if there was a reason the grip safety was removed? Will adding that functionality back compromise the strength of the frame?
I believe the safety was removed for more strength. I’d have to compare the boomer with standard frame to see where that strength is though.
Yeah thats what I’m thinking. From the documentation, it seems the hammer pin hole is prone to cracking too. I’ll beef up that area as much as I can. At the very least I plan on having the grips interchangeable if the grip safety is a no go.
How thin is that wall where the trigger bow is now with the interchangeable grips?
