I have a lead on a really cheap, basically new Stonylab 24l bench top vacuum oven like this one: Stonylab Vacuum Oven I am curious if this would be a good option for drying and annealing filaments and prints for our purposes?

Temps and internal chamber dimensions seem conducive to the purpose. Not sure if the vacuum part helps or not… I have an Amazon vacuum pump already if it would work with this unit.

The price would be about $200 after gas, but it’s a four hour drive each way to pick it up.

Would this work? A good option? A pain in the ass to use? Not worth the effort? I’m out of my element here…

Thanks in advance!

This is a great deal. Just not for 3d printing. Forced convection is better for annealing. Helps to maintain temperature uniformly across all chamber volume. And for drying is better blowing trough the camber.
