But, my point still holds a bit in that Boomers started to come about in '46. So, by 1980, they’d have been 34. That means, they’d have been old enough to sit in Congress, and would have been eligible to run for offices as early as '73. So, they’ve been spoiling things for a few days short of 53 years.
Not only are you describing the very oldest possible boomers, but you’re describing their voting behavior long before they were boomers. Most young voters back then were quite Liberal.
