has anyone done one in a while? idk how old this design is but since i found this years ago this has been my penultima build and ive finally added and sliced the jigs and saved them to my projects folder which normally means its one of the next things im working on. i had actually thoguht i lost them and for some reason i couldnt for the life of me find it online but i didnt remember the name
anyway, TLDR: are they as cool as they look?

I have one in the plans for the future along with a bronze body, but both I’ll probably be doing those as a MKIV once I convert the jigs (assuming its feasible). Those are plans for after I finish my MKR(evival).
a bronze one would be SO SICK!! ive been really interested in this for a long, long time, actually seeing this project is what got me into this whole space but i never seen any vids on them so i was wondering if it just didnt work out well or if its older so its just phased out. id love to see what you do with yours if you end up making one
NotaGuntuber on the sea has a video of him making a bronze one. He involved some CNC work, but it can be done by hand. The tricky part with the bronze is getting it bored out to .75" as the tubing comes smaller. Patience and lots of stepping up of bit sizes followed by a .75" reamer will get you there.
I’ve been wanting a Ruger MK for a while. Plan on building as many as I can. 😁
awesome tysm ill def check it out, i hadnt even considered bronze but everything i edc is brass so it would just make so much sense! of course i wouldnt actually edc a diy piece lol but you know what im saying clearly cuz your already up on the bronze MK
