Looking to see what the community thinks is better for an AR9 build. Bobcat or Ark? Both seem appealing. Anybody made them and have any thoughts for which would be better to go after?

Never built a bobcat but I’ve built 3 arks of different calibers and 1 2.0 in 300 black out. I ended up disassembling them to use the parts for other projects. Only the 22lr wasn’t ridiculously heavy, if you have any issues/made any mistakes disassembling it is a time consuming hassle due to the threaded rods as spines design however this allows for a study result. Once you get them together correctly they’re not any better or worse of an AR platform functionally just a different manual of arms (in my opinion). If you decide on the ark the charging handle is a must for an enjoyable experience.

I’ve always wanted to build a bobcat. What’s prevented me was finding a suitable bcg that fit the recommendations in the guide so I wouldn’t have to modify it any more than absolutely necessary to make it compatible with the project. If you decide on the bobcat I’d like to see what bolt carrier you decide on.
