Nestle’s long history of sacrificing infants for profits continues strong.
Yeah, Nestle’s existence is a good reminder that, if there is a god out there, they’re the sort of god that likes to burn ants with a magnifying glass.
Yea, I came here to say Nestle is caught poisoning children? Again?
Again?
…it would appear so…
Filthy corporation.
So the entire C suite will be jailed for risking babies lives, right? RIGHT?
The fine for this is less than the obscene profits they made, so no.
I want to live to see the day where Corporations do not have the ability to factor in fines as a “cost of doing business”.
Seriously. Fines need to eat into their profits at the bare minimum.
Minimum? No, I think fines should bankrupt the executives and board members, leaving them homeless at a minimum. If they don’t want to have being homeless as a bad thing, maybe they should start donating to political candidates who would change society for the better and make homelessness either a thing of the past or a very well tended to position.
A new car built by my company leaves somewhere traveling at 60 mph. The rear differential locks up. The car crashes and burns with everyone trapped inside. Now, should we initiate a recall? Take the number of vehicles in the field, A, multiply by the probable rate of failure, B, multiply by the average out-of-court settlement, C. A times B times C equals X. If X is less than the cost of a recall, we don’t do one.
Honestly there shouldn’t even be a difference in our of court settlements.
A single death should pay out enough to be more expensive than a full recall. Even if the government gets the difference in fees as punishment for negligence.
Hey, I watched this movie too!
Obligatory fuck nestle
Right? As if the bullshit they’re pulling with water and chocolate weren’t enough?
Is someone getting arrested?
But think about how much shareholder value they preserved!

$200 a month? Man, he got off easy in this round of ‘fuck the plebes’ this year.
You know, if I was the head of a multinational organization that’s infamous for poisoning children, stealing water, and bribing officials… I’d be worried about my personal safety.
Ya know evil people, committing evil actions, count on good people doing nothing.
The head of just such an organization hires a lot of bodyguards.
But, as people tend to learn, the way to excise such a person from their bodyguards, is to remove the bodyguards one at a time.
Well, if no one does anything about it then I guess it’s fine.
They get a penny every time they are caught poisoning babies, and that pleases stockholders.
