Besides, if there are no cartels, who is the CIA supposed to extort for their black books? Hard to buy weapons for your arms trafficking if you don’t have drug money to pay for them.
That’s a massive stretch. Cartels are and have been a problem, that’s all we care about.
Almost makes you wonder why the CIA keeps getting into bed with them, if that’s the case.
