    then there’s Huy Fung foods… they didn’t advertise for shit, made sriracha sauce and sold like crazy because his product wasn’t a pile of hot garbage… he didn’t needs to rely on lies (marketing) and advertising (more lies). make something good, and consistent and people will buy it

    also don’t treat your farmer like an idiot if you wanna stay in business but ya know… another story

      there’s “advertisements” and then there’s “informing people that your product exists”. You do generally have to make people aware that you exist in order for them to buy your stuff.

        Huy Fung Foods would beg to differ. Make a good product, and your customers will do that for you.

        pretty sure they have spent nothing on advertising for Sriracha and went from a guy making hot sauce for a neighborhood, to multi million sold to crazy stupid business moves to essentially being trash for being greedy. quite the interesting story btw.
