The guy’s an Incel. Didn’t even pay attention in trial, playing on his phone during deliberations, roleplaying with exercise bands, no justifications for any of his opinions except women bad, yet confident enough in it to cause a mistrial.
Jurors cannot be held to account for good-faith conduct, but there may be enough here to pin the mistrial on misbehavior. Jurors have been convicted and sentenced for causing mistrials.
