Probably depends on the location. I’m in Toronto, Canada and pre-pandemic anything that moved got a job, even without a degree. That continued till 2022-23 till the mass layoffs started. In a broadar sense however this is similar to the outsourcing wave in the late 2000s to mid 2010s. For many who graduated after 2015 it is a new experience.
