The UK doesn’t have real sushi? Like you can’t even buy sushi grade fish from a local mart and try making it yourself?

It’s wild to me the prices that McDonald’s is near me. You can save quite a bit by using the mobile app and succumbing to their data mining, but I don’t want to do that.
You’re absolutely right that, well, sans alcohol, I can eat at a good chunk of sit-down, nice restaurants in my area for basically the same price as McDonald’s. Which is absurd.
Hmm, yeah I’ll have to experiment. Fried eggs I’ve mostly got, but scrambled just ends up leaving a thin stuck mess every time.
Any tips for eggs? I can’t keep eggs from sticking to save my life when using stainless, even with generous oil and/or butter.
Ahh, okay, that makes some sense. Thanks!
Yeah, my bad, that’s what I do - so I just wasn’t sure what the benefit of SimpleLogin was…fully open to admit maybe I’m missing something though.
I basically create an email alias for every service I use and when leaks happen I know exactly who the offender is - which is nice…I guess.
Serious question, why SimpleLogin vs Proton aliases?
Where I live, I’d probably get sued for the latter - are you really able to do that? That’d be swell.
It says 1,000 * 1,024
Yeah, it’s a mess. And there’s a re-org that’s supposed to magically fix everything every quarter or two. And management always promises things will get better, but they don’t.
It’s too big. Too unwieldy. No spearheads.
But it’s great because it’s low stress and low expectations.
It sucks if you care about career advancement and personal career growth…but eh.
I work for a company with over 120,000 employees and…while it has some inefficiencies, yes, different groups coordinate and achieve different parts of different areas and projects.
Also it sucks.
I don’t understand why Tesla won’t remove him. He isn’t even the majority stock holder. I highly doubt he adds any value for the company at this point so the only thing I can think of is that there must be some weird clause in their agreements.
I’ve owned a Tesla since 2017 and at this point, I’ve only replaced tires and spent less than $1000 on electricity to go a bit over 50k miles, but I’m ashamed to be driving it every day and it sucks.
Holy crap, you are amazing. I had no idea this was a thing! Thank you.
Been actually considering it!
I don’t know. I live in a relatively rural area. The electricity is quasi-municipal. I know it was 2.5x higher when I lived closer to Portland, OR.
I reallllllly want solar. I have enough roof space that I think it might be entirely possible to offset my monthly usage and then some with the right investment.
Unfortunately, some 3000+ kW/mo costs me ~$170/mo and currently the best solar I could price out was going to run me quadruple that at best, with concessions.
I’m fine if it was…say…double the cost, but at the moment it just doesn’t make financial sense.
Problem is…it comes down to timing and then it just feels like trying to time the stock market. I suppose I’ll just do it one of these days…
Well…you answered your own question.
And you are correct.
The number of people who can’t easily vote because they can’t afford to miss work and don’t have mail-in access is significant.
It’s fucking bullshit.
