Well, in the Bible, I know there were at least a few stories where Jesus didn’t take too kindly to what would be a modern day businessman.
What I meant was “Did he choose that example because of some current event?” I wasn’t questioning whether members of the church should be upset about priests blessing crooks.
People who act shocked that a priest would bless a gay couple but have no problem with him blessing a crooked businessman are hypocrites, Pope Francis said.
Did something come up about priests blessing crooked businessmen, or is he just speaking in general terms?
maybe so

These days, the things people believe they have a right to are insane. It frequently spills over into preventing other people from doing or having certain things.

“For some people who may not love freedom as much as I do, you might say, well, we’ll trade off other values, equality, equity, you know, preventing people from doing bad things to themselves even if they were free,” Ruger said. “Look, that’s fine. But the fact is, if you love freedom, you have to let people and individuals make the choices that they make for themselves, again as long as they’re not directly harming other people.”
Yep.
Sure. I wasn’t looking to blame anyone for it.
Yes, but the 777 has two aisles.
That didn’t even enter my mind. I have only ever flown on planes with single aisles.
a passenger “who had boarded the aircraft normally,” opened a cabin door on the opposite side of the aircraft, instead of going to their seat while the aircraft was at the gate.
How did this happen? Isn’t there usually a flight attendant standing right there as you board the plane?
Don’t worry about it.
