I’m currently three quarters of the way through Decapitated’s Organic Hallucinosis record while I clean the house. For the last month straight I’ve been mainlining Steven Wilson’s solo records as well as Porcupine Tree records. Music is not dead for the active listeners in the world. The focus should be on encouraging kids to appreciate a good album every once in a while.

If you actually view the site, I think it’s pretty clear that its a well intentioned site with a genuine interest in providing travel tips and info to people. There’s no reason that site should have had its traffic obliterated.

I’m kinda feeling the same. The MGS3 story/execution is much weaker than 2 IMO but there are some cool gameplay advancements over 2. Oddly its just much less immersive as an experience, but its still quite good.

Chrono Trigger with my wife. Having a blast with that. Almost done Metal Gear Solid on Extreme difficulty. That game is a true masterpiece. The extreme modes in MGS make them even better if you ask me.

Finished MGS2 a couple days ago. Those final codec calls are prophetic and terrifying. Another masterpiece.

I think 60FPS is totally fine. 30 is only OK on slower moving games or era-appropriate consoles; Halo on the OG Xbox for example.

In this day and age, anything below 60FPS 1080p is unacceptable. If a new game can’t hit that target on 3 year old hardware, the game is unfinished.
