So what does the law in the US say now then? That the boy gets thrown in jail?
Why would you not make exceptions for kids under the age of 15 to have sex with kids under 15 and kids over 15 but under 18 to have sex with kids over 15 but under 18? Granted that they both gave consent.
In normal countries a kid can not consent to have sex with adults and it would be defined as rape and general sexual education is not frowned upon.
And those crimes are all called murder with additioal context added. Calling a rape something other than rape is minimizing it. We don’t need “another word” for rape.
Maybe that young girl wanted to have sex with an older man? Maybe there was no force involved at all?

I get that you want to separate sex by force from sex by free will but when it comes to kids there can never be consent and it defaults to rape. It should not be minimized just because a female teacher raped young boys.
Edit: If you want a different definition for what happens to someone being forced or not you could call it rape with assault or rape with {whatever}. I don’t think the rape part should be minimized in any way. Just extended in brutality if anything.

I thought this was decided when the merger happened in 2009. This has been known in Sweden since right after the merger happened and it completely fucked our old postal service.
I got started self-hosting using a small Lenovo Thinkcentre and an HP EliteDesk. Both are available to purchase for around 100 dollars on ebay. I have installed Proxmox on both of them. Proxmox is an operating system built on Debian Linux and is used to host containers and virtual machines. It has a great WebGUI to access the server.
Using Proxmox I have set up a Pelican container for game servers hosting, I run my own personal wiki, I have PiHole, Jellyfin, Audiobookshelf and a lot more.
To access your things out of home you can use a VPN to connect to your own network or open ports in your router. I only had to open port 80 and 443 to expose my reverse proxy to the internet and then I use the reverse proxy to route the traffic internally to the correct port and project. I also purchases a domain name and now I can use jellyfin.mydomain.com or wiki.mydomain.com or whatever.mydomain.com to access each project I self-host. It’s very convenient!
Trying new projects is super easy and if you want to remove something then just delete the container. No old leftovers will stay on the host system. There are also community scripts available to make hosting even easier. It will install and configure the containers for you.

It depends on the project/container. Some containers run Debian, some Alpine, some Ubuntu. I mostly rely on the community scripts from here and use the defaults.

I guess everything that supports containers, QEMU and KVM is compatible to use as a guest OS in Proxmox.
Yes, as I said it’s a debian base. But Proxmox is built for servers and using it to host and share containers or virtual machines is super simple. Especially with the community helper scripts that can set up different self-hosting projects within minutes with minimal tinkering.

Weird how this is not an issue in most other countries and that America always has to make everything complicated or convoluted. Arresting two minors for having sex with each other with consent is weird as fuck. I really don’t understand why America has to be this extreme with everything. In my country the law says that you are sexually mature at the age of 15, which means that as an adult can have sex with a 15 year old. However, recording or taking pictures of sexual acts are still considered illegal until you reach the age of 18.
Do you know what we don’t have? Lots of pedoes. Because the vast majority of people realize that having sex with a 15 year old is creepy as fuck and they do not find it attractive. We also have good sexual education so that everyone, especially the younger people, can make informed decisions.
And having sex with a minor here (under the age of 15) is always considered rape in the eyes of the law if you are an adult. That said, most parents or the kids themselves won’t care if a 14 year old had sex with a 16 year old and they won’t make a big deal out of it as long as there was consent. Because everything is not black or white. We have nuance.
Jaywalking is also illegal here but nobody cares, not even the police, because if nobody got hurt or you didn’t put other people at harms way then there’s no reason to make a big deal out of it.
But getting back to the topic, I do really think that a female teacher “having sex” with a minor boy is rape and should be called out as such. There’s no reason to minimize her crime and call it something else.
