Maybe they don’t care if you think they’re dumb as long as the attack happens to solidify the people behind unjustifiable war. Greenland, Canada, Ukraine, Iran, China - as long as 400 million will again buy the lies.

I find the argument that Americans are fighting back harder than is apparent unbelievable.

Numbers in the streets of hundreds and thousands aren’t cloaking a factor of ten more yet openly visible elsewhere in the world for smaller matters.

There are no hidden tanks at the capitol.

There are no midweek or daily protests hiding amongst the monthly callouts on weekends nor do arguments about having to work to survive mask the apathy.

There is a juvenile psychopath on the streets with guns threatening the whole neighbourhood while America - the collective parent and sibling of them - are in the house claiming they are doing their part.

America has been a generations long rabid promoter of the actions it itself is not doing.

I know, I know, but the American people accept this and allow it.

Type I and II diabetes (mellitus) are different diseases and insulin use isn’t simple enough that diet recommendations (which every diagnosed diabetic probably already knows) are a magical missing piece for RFK Jr.

People with type I are deficient in insulin and it’s part of treating the disease right away. Insulin is used for people with type II, who aren’t deficient but can’t use insulin well, later in the disease progression if other treatments are no longer effective.

If a person with type II diabetes is on insulin, diet was probably treatment number one and has probably already failed or isn’t effective enough.

The boards deserve as much leniency as republicans do.

Imagine reading in the future that WWII happened but then for WWIII the USA and Israel were the genocidal baddies who like eugenics.

This bill authorizes the President to enter into negotiations with the government of Denmark to purchase or otherwise acquire Greenland. The bill also renames Greenland as Red, White, and Blueland.

I think the world, and especially Canada, aren’t wrong to expect Americans as a whole to not let it get to that point - democratically, seriously. We have been, happily and willingly, consuming an entire culture of freedom and defence against tyranny. Your news is our news, including all of the violence and rationalization of it - defence of freedom.

We know your massive protests and hard won civil rights because your media is our media just like your products are our bilateral lifelines.

If it gets to the point of invasion I think it’s fair to consider all of America having stabbed us in the back.

Edit: just to try and be lighter about it - it’s like we all took in your movies and books and documentaries but America themselves in a staggering ratio seem to have missed the point or identified the wrong protagonist.
