In Indiana, our castle laws are pretty wide reaching. I do have an owncloud container running, which is mapped to a directory. And I have that shared out through samba so I can access it through my file manager. But that’s unnecessary because owncloud is kind of trash.

I mean the common thing I see in this thread is just people recommending a docker container that hosts the server. Not really what I would call “3rd party bullshit” and I would absolutely recommend running a game server in a docker container. It makes a lot of things easier.

Yeah the kid got like a $400 fine and told not to do that again. I think that’s a fair punishment for doing something really really stupid as a teenager.
