My dad used to talk about them. He’d call it faggots and peas.

I have feeling that’s only gonna help those at the top. It’ll make the sector easier to control by consolidating it, but if anything goes wrong their gonna fall hard. But I’m no expert in the field.
Well the stumpage fees are meant to fund the replanting and there are professionals who decide where and how to cut the lumber to reduce the harm to the eco system, but usually what is planted in place is a monoculture of straight growing coniferous trees that also burn easily. So you don’t have the same eco system and it has a good chance to burn down before maturity.
I could see myself not playing with a subscription service. I can only play games only so many hours a week as I have a lot more commitments now. I’m not gonna spend money on a monthly subscription for a handful of games that I might play. I’ll just go back to pirating games.
I’ll definitely check this out when I have time. Maybe once the warranty is up I’ll give it a try, which isn’t too far away since the warranty is only good for 1 year where I live.
I don’t think that’s the way to do it. The workers who have nothing to do with it get shafted by losing their jobs and there is a little less competition in a world where there isn’t enough in some industries. I think long jail sentences will the best deterrent. Fines only do so much. C-level executives needs to start going to jail.
Of course oil prices go up. A moth farts and the prices go up jfc.
Foreign students that pay atleast twice the tuition that local students do. And also roll up in luxury vehicles. You think those students don’t also have big expensive houses?
They are either “students” or are being funded their parents. Either way they are complicit.
Fuck around and find out I guess.
That was a temporary 2 year ban on foriegn buyers, but it was too little too late. They already injected too much money and equity in to the market. I’m sure there’s a way around it too. Corporations can still buy property. And once the ban is lifted it’s back to normal and the prices are still fucked even with the temporary ban.
Oh it does for sure. At least in Canada there are government regulations requiring inspections by 3rd parties to check for leaks with some sort of thermal camera. I’m not familiar with the technology to check for leaks but I’ve had to fix the leaks before and it’s taken seriously and well documented.
Methane is burned at the point of use and produces carbon dioxide. Ideally there is no methane released in to the environment.
The article says storing the data in Russia, or it could just be articles vagueness. They probably store plenty of data, just not storing it in Russia. But who knows. This is such a nothing burger story.
30 confirmed reports across the country? Jeez that’s pretty low for “unprecedented”. I can probably find that many in my small town.
Apparently the anchor has been dragging for miles before it hit the pipeline. They may not have known they were dragging. Or it was an elaborate plan. Never know until they question the crew, which they haven’t been able to contact.
Well they went to right people.
Remote work camps for mines use Starlink. The one I was at was pretty terrible. Not sure if they had multiple units running or what. There we about 1500 of us at the camp.
Yeah. We’ll definitely be set ourselves back for a while. Shame because we are on the verge of lots of great technologies.
That’s not for me. Not gonna pay AAA prices for a game I have to spend hours of my own time fixing their mistakes. He’ll I’d have to learn a whole new skill.
What is the 4B movement?
