I had a Centauri carbon and it was amazing for the price. I printed over 2500 hours on it using strictly pa6-cf, pps-cf, ppa-cf, and pet-gf. I also have a Creality K2 plus and a lot of the times it printed better than the $1500 printer. I sold it after I got a Qidi q2 just because I didn’t really have the space for 3 printers. Now I will say, if you can pony up another $200 the Qidi q2 is a superior printer. This thing just kills it on every print. The heated chamber is amazing on it and heats very quickly. If $300 is your budget though you absolutely can’t go wrong with the Centauri carbon.

Took mine to the range a couple of weeks ago and it functioned great. I agree with the suggestions on the other comment. I will say it’s a snappy lil sucker.

The file is on Odyssey you can search my name or white dwarf star. Oh wait, that’s for the flat. So the flat is on my Odyssey but the file for this I found from chairmonwon. I just searched rxm on the index. If you can’t find it lmk and I’ll send it to you directly. I printed it in pla first to check dimensions prior to getting this printed.

Man I’ve been thinking about building a dear22 too. I built a m&p 15.22 not realizing that it wasn’t well suited for a super safety or a frt. I’ve been holding off because of the amount of unfinished projects I have. It’s definitely on my list. Can’t wait to see yours. Right now I’m waiting on a Kimber micro 9 parts kit to build out a tiny 11. Should be here any day 👍🏻

It’s got a rough texture for sure. Not all pa6-cf has a rough texture though. I’ve been using Jayo pa6-cf and it’s much smoother. Also yxpolyer pa6-cf has the smoothest I’ve seen but it can be a pain to use sometimes. I think it has to do with the size of the carbon fill. I’m pretty sure those 2 cheaper brands use more of a carbon fiber powder where like Fiberon has strands of carbon fiber. I’m sure it affects overall strength too. However the builds Ive used the cheap stuff on are holding up just fine. The cheaper ones tend to warp easier too. Printing and annealing.

Im on the new ui now on my pc and I like it. However ill stick to the app i downloaded for mobile. I dont really care for browser based stuff on the mobile. Its pretty slick on the pc though!!!
