I love how it covers the pre-revolutionary. One of my other things is also how it’s nuanced about the war, and more specifically the founding fathers. I love seeing things that cover the war that aren’t just about “Rahhh. Freedom”. I feel like it’s an easy camp for the media to fall into.

When I first played it when I was younger it didn’t click that the blue were colonial troops and they were there because the British got kicked out. I had just assumed they were blue for no reason naively enough. Granted I was young, but still it’s funny to look back on

Funnily enough AC3 comes right off the heels of me 100%ing 2, Brotherhood, and Revelations. So I know how much work that was.

I love 3, especially for the setting and gameplay. Black Flag though I went running straight too as well after finishing 3 back in the day. I loved the idea of pirates and the sailing

I am able too. Though I sometimes make unwise decisions with my schedule, i usually have enough free time to game for a few hours a day

I feel like the only game that wasn’t that bad for me was Assassin’s Creed Black Flag because it had the Sea Shanties. Without those I feel like it would get old fast

Growing up I never understood people’s complaints about the gameplay. But after playing through 1 and the Ezio trilogy, it was like a “holy shit, I get it” moment. I still love 3, but there’s definitely some lacking in certain places with the gameplay

I mean, it’s N64 Rainbow Road. I’ll take any excuse i can to go drive around on it. legit one of my favorite courses of all time

I think the Minecraft one is the most impressive to me from a technical level, though the Tiny Halo ring rotates the gravity so you’re always facing the right way, which i have to imagine was a pain to program

DLSRs are a budget option usually compared to a Mirrorless Camera (what I assume you mean when you say digital)

If I could get screenshots from the N64 I totally would. I legit have everything except a video cable and an appropriate adapter to feed it into a capture card for screenshots.

It sucks getting older. As i was going through the world i was having a blast, but i also kept thinking to myself “Wow, i’m not sure i could do this now. I wonder where that went?”

I think the ugly builds in a way have come full circle to me because of nostalgia. I feel like now when i see a super massive build with like block pallets and stuff my reaction is just “oh, that’s cool”. Meanwhile with builds that are fugly, i get more of a reaction of “Now that looks like something someone had a blast building”. Bonus points if it was done co-op

I think i have a Elite thankfully. I have like 5 Xbox 360s of Varying models though so i may be wrong. I’ll have to check all of them because i’m not actually sure which one is my childhood one is and which one is one i picked up to fix as a project. Thankfully i have some confidence getting to the HDD wherever it is.

At its core I’d assume so. I mostly like it over Beta 1.7.3 because of nostalgia and the small differences lol. Small reasons to prefer it, I know. But it makes me happy

Still my favorite edition to this day. The PC Port I’ve been playing is still a little buggy but hits like all the nostalgia spots

It’s technically Xbox 360 Edition ported to PC that calls itself “Legacy Console Edition”, then I added a mod that replaced the glyphs with PS3 Icons (my go to controller is PS3) lol.

My first brush was Xbox 360 Edition like 16 years ago. I still have the disk somewhere I think.

You mentioning the tutorial world reminds me. I’ve been wanting to backup my old 360 Worlds I made with my sister way back in the day before that ancient thing’s hard drive craps out and I lose them forever

What game is this? I’m not a big RPG guy (Pokemon is the only traditional RPG I really play). I was going to take a guess Golden Sun or Chronotrigger but I don’t know enough to know whether either of those got a 3DS Remaster

Damn. I saw the picture first and got really excited thinking it was fates. I’ve heard good things about awakening but my SD Card got corrupted when I was playing it and I lost all motivation to play it. If it’s anything like fates though (or better from what I hear) it’s a really good time

If by rough you mean difficult, you can actually fine tune the settings in game to match what you want. Like if you want something where zombies go down super easy and supplies are super common you can easily set the save settings to that.

I will add though they’re different experiences when comparing Solo and Multiplayer

I’d say you can just turn off the zombies, but I feel like that’d take a lot of the point out of it. Though, now that I say that I’m tempted to try it just to see what it’s like. I feel like it’d be interesting
