I don’t expect americans to go after Trump over European affairs, if things escalate I am pretty sure the KSK is completely capable to relieve this Facist from its misery.
What I expect is that the people of the US at least defend their own freedom.

Yeah… you are right, in today’s world one has to be more clear on that…

I would never have thought that I would ever be on the same page with some religious dictator…

Just and idea:
Research what a “Pissplatte” (piss plate?) is and learn to weaponize it.

So, there we are… there IS that second amendment thing that the people of the US are always proudly citing. My question to this is: Why don’t you proud Americans start to… well… doing target practice?

This makes America as the whole an enemy, not only its government. Just saying.
So… making laws against Nazis DOES work?

The current an planned actions of the US will also surely leading to others doing things to them they don’t like…

Somehow, reading this I get flashbacks to Shadowrun TTRPG sessions I did in the 90s…

I am now married to a Vietnamese woman for a bit over ten years and we have a kid, but i can only speak from my personal experience - as always, people are individuals and regional experiences may be utterly different.
As far as i can say: As long as you respect the culture, try to blend in and be friendly you will never find a more welcoming people, multi racial kids (we are talking European / Vietnamese here, ok?) are absolutely no problem. But i have to say: In Vietnam you also find the (i am speaking in general terms here) typical asian dislike for darker skin. You are absolutely fine as long as your skin tone matches roughly the one of the local population or is lighter. As a darker skinned person your experience may be completely different.

I don’t know about our politician, but the population surely is taking him seriously… i am living near an american base in germany and i can assure anyone: Americans are really not popular with the local population right now, and at the moment its a really, really bad idea to enter some establishments in uniform.

Vietnam really is nice (i lived there for a while), but one has to keep in mind: The living standard (away from the big cities) is still not compareable to western standards and - a thing that i find really funny in a way - i would never have thought that a communist country may be THAT anarcho capitalist.
But overall: I really love that country.

Well… this was something I talked about with my father in law a while back when I lived in Vietnam, he replied around the line of “For what?”.
You should not think everyone in the world wants the same things people in the west want.

Fine. What do YOU, as a citizen of a rogue state, do to stop all this?

They build a prospering nation that uplifted their people from poverty. The Vietnamese are - in the absolute majority - very happy with their government.

We should have moved away from the US tech stack back then when Bush Jr. was in office… I can only say that I am preaching this now my whole professional life, for over 20 years now!

No…No…Nonononono…
We OF COURSE need NOW cameras EVERYWHERE (yeah, Timmy, even in the cellar where you do what we ALREADY KNOW YOU DO THERE) and we HAVE TO implement AI (ARTIFICIAL GODDAMN INTELLIGENCE!“!§”“”“) to monitor the camera footage of every FUCKING CITIZEN, NON-CITIZEN, FUCKING EVERYONE!!!”.

Ok, can we just start WWIII an end civilisation before i have to return to work on the 6th of January? Please!?
May a blood clot finally find its way…
