Last year or earlier would have been the time to do that, not this close to the election.

The US Constitution is not responsible for the 2-party duopoly. It actually grants us the freedom to have all the political parties we want, and corporate oligarchy has entrenched the current 2 parties. What we really need is corporate money banned from politics, starting with a reversal of Citizens United decision.
Yep we all paint our dogs to look like pandas over here
Streaming in general is great. Streaming services are a mixed bag of results, but overall our options are excellent at this point in time. You can have streaming services with no contract, pay for one month and abandon it if you don’t like it. There are also numerous FREE streaming services with lots of great content.
It’s important to understand the above in the context of how it used to be before Streaming was an option. There was basically only the option to have a cable or satellite TV on contract, or use OTA antenna TV, or watch everything on disc / tape. So yeah I think streaming is great.
Having said all that, I buy anything I want to keep perpetually on disc. 4k Blu-ray for movies and CDs for music (I bought 3 albums on CD over the last couple weeks). Games don’t fit on discs anymore so I try to get stuff on GOG when it works out.
It also wouldn’t help for Congress to ban “assault weapons” because it would be soon declared unconstitutional by the Supreme Court, and that would overturn all the state-level bans already in place. Which would be a victory for gun rights and the principles of individual liberty that we should all celebrate.
Whatever, you can believe that if it makes you feel good. I’m good either way.
You want to reduce everything into simple concepts just to argue about them. Reality is not that simple, and that’s clearly not all that I said about the subject. There’s no need to make up your own version of “what I said” when what I actually said is still there in plain text to read in the past comments.
So what? I said I don’t know already. Do you want to keep on all day about this?
Go ahead and just believe whatever you want about all this, you will do that regardless of what I say.
Likewise there’s nothing you can say that would change the facts of reality that I’ve already stated.
I have another idea, which is that I’ve said all that I care to say about it already and reject your attempts to continue arguing.
You can just carry on believing whatever it is that you want to believe, as that’s what you’d do regardless of whatever I said anyway.
I don’t know, just some mixture of African and Mongolian would be my guess. It would be more appropriate to ask the people in that picture IMO.
Did you miss the whole section with the tree of races, showing the genetic differences in them? Maybe you didn’t make it all the way through?
It think it’s debatable about how you define Races, but it’s also quite obvious that biological races exist. There are specific differences in the physical biology that separate the races, and common traits among them that identify them as part of the group. Skin color, hair type, bone structure, genetic predisposition to certain diseases, etc. Physical traits are passed from the parents to the children, and when the parents are of different races we get blending of the characteristics and so on. Some Native Americans even have different kinds of teeth than European-Caucasian descended folks do.
Basically it’s not something you can choose or change, it’s an immutable biological set of characteristics. I don’t know what “race” the Jews in Israel are exactly but I suspect it depends a lot on the region their ancestors are from. Many of them might even be the same “race” as Palestinians.
Race is a well documented biological fact actually. It’s not subject to political interpretation.
And that is all really ridiculous brainwashing, considering that all those people look very similar. You could take random Israelis and Palestinians and dress them up all in the same clothes, and then ask people which person was which ethnic group and they might not be able to tell them apart.
That’s ridiculous. As if anyone could gatekeep the concept of families loving their children, like it’s a new thing recently invented.
You simply were not present to observe all of what you are assuming happened. I was present to observe many “boomer” parents providing a loving upbringing for their kids. They raised my generation, and I knew many of them.
Shit I remember reading about MRAM at least a decade ago. I thought it was going to be the next big thing to advance computers, but it never showed up outside some rare industrial use cases.
The great thing they could do with that is have RAM that keeps its data while powered off. You could possibly turn your PC on and off like a lightswitch, instead of booting up over a number of seconds/minutes. But now that we have NVME SSDs and stuff, we are already getting close to that
My state started up sales last year and I watched the prices drop a lot over the year. It’s mostly sold in eighths and the average eighth went from $40 to $20 for high quality products
All the personal liberty stuff is great, we need more of that around the world.
Uh… Google collects user data, but in Soviet Russia user data collects Google!
