Even more so and approved by the AVMA in their euthanasia guidelines if done correctly (right bullet, muzzle energy, shot placement and trajectory) and you can do it without any strangers showing up wanting to poke them with needles. I read in another article that the zoo will “gently euthanize” your pet but I have had a vet come out to my farm and caution me about using any animal euthanized with drugs as feed for anything else due to possible bad reactions or side effects. So what is the definition of “gentle” when talking about non-drug euthanasia?
