You’re a boss. Of course I should have checked AWCY. Thanks man.

Well color me fucking retarded then.

Sorry I couldn’t tell you. I’ve always wanted to build the space trench, but I have a 500 not a maverick 80.

Ha that makes sense.

Drilling and tapping? I know its gotta be cut down right?

Dope. How difficult was the build?

Can’t wait for release.
This is just a standard 5.56 barrel right? What are you guys doing about the gas port?

Damn ok. All the more reason to convince my wife i need a lathe.

Bro ive been fiending over this build since they dropped the closed beta over a month ago. Just to see you here looking to join give me so much fucking hope.
BTW, I believe you have to join to become discord in order to join one of their betas.

Really does depend on the phone. But I use boost for lemmy on android. There’s plenty of options. Download and login with you account(s) and subscribe to the communities you want.

Photon for sure looks nicer, but im on the boost app so it doesn’t matter to me lol.

That’s cool as fuck. Never heard of this build.
Glad to see more people coming over.

Don’t hold your breath. People are already trying again create new subs. Its just getting worse and people are too intimidated by lemmy. That, or they just refuse to stop using reddit.

Now thats cool as fuck.

Hell yeah thats what I like. Can’t wait to see it.

First off, love the dudes shirt.
Second, I guess im not surprised. But what really pisses me off is them using the 3d printer as evidence.

Now this is cool. Try to make some custom back straps for better fit and different textures.
How’s it hold up to the stresses of firing?

This is a badass project. What’s the bom looking like so far? How diy are we talking?

Im not sure many people here know qidi or do any resin printing.
You’re probably better off on a regular 3d printing community for that.
Edit: try posting to 3dprinting@lemmy.world
Yo thats awesome. I bet saturating the market with printed cans will also start reducing the price of machined ones.
