Warmest November I ever recall feeling in 35 years. It’s literally in the 70s/80s F on the mid Atlantic US coast.

Are we still going on about the diacetyl and studies that drove the coils so hard they were basically incinerating the cotton and juice?
Some people need a reason to read, some knowledge or skill to be gained, and aren’t into just reading for reading’s sake. I’ll never read Harry Potter or most other fiction, but I’ll definitely binge some electronics engineering and programming reference books. Doesn’t mean I hate reading. It just has to be useful to me. I have to walk away with the feeling of having gained info that I didn’t have before.
That’s probably why I don’t play many videogames either.
First, who are you quoting?
Literally the person four comments above this one, right before yours. You gotta slow down when reading comments dude.
It’s not at all unreasonable to be against people pissing about on their phones while cycling.
I don’t know, maybe you missed this or something. Don’t know where you got the idea that bikes themselves are bad.
There’s a bit of difference between someone you love and a pillow.
You forgot the standard football field unit, we use it to measure the space station.
Fortunately, there was no such thing as audio recording when their religion was invented
I think I remember a video where they found audio vibrations scratched into a piece of pottery or something, because some straw or a twig was resting on it while it spun and was being molded and it picked up the ambient noise. It wasn’t an intentional recording though, and the audio they were able to extract is right on the edge of being something somewhat recognizable from pure noise.
Alert tones blare over the station radio
“Engine, truck, structure fire, box nnnn”
Dude hops into truck and notices the GPS is not telling them to go anywhere…
That’s just my limit to where I start getting heebie jeebies. About 15-20 feet or so.
As someone with acrophobia, this justifies my fear of balconies and railings over 1 story tall. I don’t understand humans’ architectural obsession with giant voids and heights. I’m the kinda person who’s asshole puckers up looking at a two story mall ceiling.
It’s a step up, many people are still driving shitboxes from the USSR era.
So many things they could target that’s related to the cause but they go for the fucking IA? Might as well burn down an orphanage. This is fucked up.
In a world of satellites, advanced air forces, guided missiles, drones, etc, a couple spiky things on the ground seems very medieval.
You’re not going to be the only one with plans like that. There’s a few billion more of us that would like some water too. In an actual resource conflict, that water is most likely going to be secured, prioritized, and rationed by government authorities first, if some random militias or warlords don’t get to it first.
This isn’t going to be a case of “oh I’ll just move away from the fighting and chill and keep going to work and paying taxes”. It’s going to come to you no matter where you are. Easy access to fresh water is a pretty basic foundation of an advanced, stable society.
I gotta admit, on my small phone screen, that did NOT look like a dinosaur’s neck coming out of Jesus at first…
Anybody can come to the party as long as you bring your own beer.
The AfD brought crack.
Not every country has such a paranoid view of their government as Americans do. Some systems function a bit better when the people want something done.
