When your (physical) book is on the shelf amongst a sea of competition at a store, the title is about the only thing that serves as any form of advertisement. So they tend to be VERY verbose.

What exactly is the alternative? Every tv manufacturer is doing this. Buying a commercial display isn’t the answer.
