I know this is satire, though it was my understanding that tourists were protected. Let me repeat: We are in the game where we must do what the Republicans do and come together against a common enemy. So I recommend everyone agree on a candidate then shut up and checkmark that box. We can go back to verbally juxtaposing our positions through digital larping, or whatever it is we do when most of us forget politics exist for four years.

I embarrassed the COO of a large organization once in front of approximately half of that organization’s management. Managed to get away with it. So yes, I can say with some certainty that being able to stand up and freely express yourself is character building and, frankly, fucking awesome.

You’re probably right. The problem I’m running into is religion’s history of causing literally every issue you can think of, up to and including war and everything that comes with it. So while that church may not be faulty, our failure to not use religion as a wall to hide atrocities behind sorta makes it automatically on the wrong side of the fence. Unless it proves otherwise, of course. Which, I think, it has failed to do so quite remarkably.

I don’t know how it is in Germany, though I am convinced our methods in the U.S to educate and school kids and teens actively hurt critical thinking skills. They’re not taught to make decisions. They’re taught to follow set rules, ask for permission, and be ashamed if they fail. They’re not taught to learn, they’re taught to work.

Animals are still animals. It isn’t dishonest to say that we should respect them and their space through understanding and recognizing their behavior. Don’t allow your love for an animal cloud the basic judgment that every animal may have its moment. Don’t be afraid, just be aware.

Look man, the problem with arguing with these people is that they are hard stuck. Biden could tell us exactly what the issue is, take his entire staff to Gaza, put on an apron, and begin filling bowls with soup, and people will be like, “HE ISN’T GRABBING A GUN AND FIGHTING BACK”

May I ask what you consider to be alcohol abuse? Yes, there are papers and sites and all that. I tend towards trusting the opinion of people on the ground a bit more.

I feel that quite a few people are tired, mostly. So they project those negative feelings, with a sprinkle of zero research, and a dollop of regurgitation, and point it all at whomever happens to be at the highest point of whatever they want to blame. In this case: Biden. Bob Ross could be in the seat and things could be absolutely amazing and people would still find something. It’s just the way it is, heightened by the sheer number of folks who are at various levels of angry and confused.

None of it is right, of course. Nor does it provide an excuse for behavior. It is, at least, one reason of many that I’m way to lazy to tap out and run through with two fingers. The best the rest of us can do is continue to be reasonable and to work together, while fighting against foolish perspectives and holier-than-thou accusations and finger pointing lightly disguised as shallow arguments.

As for me: I’m on the side of “more likely to make things better.” and we know why that happens to be the case. One step at a time. Let’s just make sure to not fall off and continue working locally and at State level.
