you’re conflating mortality metrics with incidence metrics. increasing incidents are very likely biased by improved detection and reporting.

anyway the point is not that cancer is going away or anything, but that you can’t easily say “pollution is giving young people cancer” as the top comment is.

more likely the opposite, we see higher “incidents” because of improved detection and reporting. meanwhile deaths decline because of improved treatments and prevention.

well firstly one of my points above was that trump was the only president in history who made the US’s official position as supporting Israel’s settling Palestine.

as for the other stuff you mentioned, i never said any president should be absolved of anything. my point this whole time has been that no matter how bad you think Kamala will be in regards to palestine, trump will be even worse. it’s not a binary “good” or “bad” situation.

So how would you describe what has happened to Palestinians over the past 70 years and in particular since October 8 ?

• moved the American embassy to Jerusalem
• has never once uttered the words “cease fire”, only called for Israel’s “victory”
• as far as experts are aware, Trump has never expressed any concern over humanitarian aid in Gaza/Palestine
• reversed US’s position on Israeli settlements in Palestine, which Biden has again reversed to the original position in accordance with international law
