I wonder if it has anything to do with Russia

I mean, since Biden changed the meaning it “ceasefire” to mean “temporary pause”, then of course he would be ok. Gives the IDF a chance to reload.
Looks like SOMEone didn’t pay their CIA dues this month
They’ll have leveled the entirety of Raffah, so now most/all of Gaza is almost uninhabitable. “I mean, we gonna bomb the rubble? Sure we’ll sign a cease fire. It never stopped us before”
I would normally agree, but when it comes to Israel, all bets are off, even for The Atlantic.
They were definitely still biased. The difference is that the opinion was built into what they covered vs what they didn’t cover. ABC has always been a left-leaning network, CBS a right-leaning network, and NBC somewhere between. So while they might cover most big things very much the same, sometimes what they chose to cover or how much to cover it would reveal their leanings.
That being said, they were much more in-step than our news networks are now.
This source is hot garbage. It’s a right-wing conspiracy theory rag
I mean, that’s most of the settlements in the Gaza Strip, so…
Yes yes, good to see the news from the unbiased source of…lowers glasses…Times of Israel
Really living up to the username there.
I have a chisel. It is used for shaping wood. If I stab people with it, it is now a weapon. You can’t say “it’s not a weapon, it’s meant for shaping wood” about the chisel that I used to stab people.
So do you call the Israeli army terrorists? Because they’ve done all of those things to an even greater extent than Hamas has.
Except there have been a ton of studies that show it IS profitable…in the long term. But it’s profitable in that it saves a ton of money in things like prison systems. So it’s not profitable to the right people. If we spend money on education, private prisons get less money and oligarchs have to actually pay people a living wage to make their clothing and street signs.
Palestinians didn’t start this war. Not even close. Saying this shows a pretty clear ignorance of the history of Israel and Palestine.
When I spend a lot of time around non-queer people (although even some cisgender gay people get in my nerves too) it gets to be really difficult for me. You’re constantly hiding parts of who you are, or getting sideways looks, or other things that tell you that they really don’t “get” you. You feel constantly judged and on the outside. It makes it difficult to not have at least a quick chat with someone who does understand.
As a queer person, I COMPLETELY understand her sentiment here. I don’t agree with it, but I understand it.
I mean, yea. Of course it has become a haven for disinformation. That’s why he bought it.
