I am rarely proud of French politics but somehow Germany manages to make it happen.

It would only allow cars emitting 90%less vs 2021 level. It’s not much of a change and it leaves room for innovation. It’s not that bad.

There was due process.

I dont want to argue on this but those are people who committed crime in Germany. We can still discuss if that is necessary but when it comes to public opinion, it is supported and popular.
