That expression about the older we get the more conservative was explicitly for boomers who reaped immensely from runaway neoliberalism. Millennial and Gen Z have had nothing but worsening conditions. I expect that saying to age out. We are radicalizing. I followed the same path as you. A decades proud reformer. But neoliberalism cannot be reformed.


Good thing their IPO has led to such an enshitifying hunger that they are speed running the death of old reddit (forcing many of us to abandon ship even if we were not ready) and now they are quadrupling down. As a Canadian I cant help but interpret this as nothing against Canada, but insecurity about our increasingly belligerent neighbour.
