  • Mate can you actually read? I replied to your comment to push back against you expecting Greta to be standing up on a platform and immediately talking about all of this stuff to the world when she’s going to be very traumatised. And that she would be whether what the article says is true or not. That’s it. Nothing else

My whole point has been about that, not about the article and it’s accuracy. The only times I’ve said anything about the latter is cos you keep somehow not understanding that I’m not talking about the accuracy of the article and bringing it back up again. And even then the only thing I really said in response to that was pushing back against you saying The Canary is niche when it actually isn’t really. And also telling you to read it, seeing as you clearly hadn’t from what you’ve said in replies. You didn’t understand entirely what you were arguing against in the article and now you’re not understanding my point at all and have somehow gone off thinking I’m saying things that I’m not

  • If you can’t understand why someone wouldn’t go out in front of the world and make big statements in line with these claims, or any statement at all, immediately after a very traumatising experience then you really need to work on your empathy and understanding of basic human emotion. I understand your skepticism, to a point. I just gave a very obvious reason why she hasn’t talked about the harrowing things she went through in detail to the public straight away, whether they are as is said in this article or not. Even thinking about them is going to be very difficult for her, nevermind doing what you’re expecting

Edit: Taken out a sentence that isn’t relevant, as I thought you were the OP of this comment thread before

  • So we just don’t consider anything could be true unless we know for absolute sure it is? So we shouldn’t even entertain the idea that Epstein didn’t kill himself, as well as many other things? I understand that we shouldn’t go about throwing out theories and believing them completely without some solid evidence, but I think the other extreme of “epistemic hygiene” hinders us too. Certain things could turn out to be true and us ignoring suggestions of that earlier on could mean we don’t realise later. Again I’m not saying that the possibility I bring up in my original comment is likely or anything, just it wouldn’t surprise me really. There’s so many examples in recent years of powers distracting us from the bad things they’re doing with other things

  • Not saying it’s definitely the case but the conspiracy minded part of me can’t help but notice the attack on the synagogue in Manchester was very conveniently timed around when the flotilla arrived in Israel. Could just be coincidence of course but we’ve seen what they’re capable of making happen. This would be very easy for them. And this isn’t to have any disrespect towards the victims of the attack, even if it was a false flag or whatever it doesn’t make it any less of a tragedy. Plenty of Jewish people suffer generally because of Israel too

Edit: well guess I offended a bunch of people with this. Nice to see that we’re being no different to reddit here and just downvoting people we don’t agree with, even if that person isn’t being shitty about the opinion they’re expressing and isn’t claiming it’s true anyway, and not having an open discussion about the thing that’s been said

Yep as I expected, nothing about supporting the annexation or openly working with Russian propaganda/intel services. In fact what I’m seeing from googling that is many examples of him actually publicly condemning the Russian governments actions over the years, including the invasion of Ukraine. If he’s under Russian employ as you say, I’m very surprised they didn’t fire him years ago

But yeah you’re clearly someone who sees the Ukrainian government and NATO as perfect and could never do anything wrong and will continue to do so. So anyone who says even slightly different is worthy to be demonised by you, whether it’s actually true or not they even said anything like that. And before you accuse me of being a “Russia sympathiser” or whatever I completely believe Russia is the aggressor and that we should be supoorting Ukraine. Just not that Ukraine and NATO have been 100% good themselves

Like, for instance, it’s also funny that people can’t see that NATO are loving the invasion. It means they don’t have to all openly go to war with Russia to severely weaken it, something they’ve always wanted. They can just use Ukraine in a proxy war and allow the country and people to suffer all the hardships while the rest of NATO just pump Ukraine with war funding and the politicians in government in those countries get an easy win in popularity. Starmer is a great example of this, just about everything he’s done is unpopular and the UK population for the most part are at the very least disappointed in him. The only time he was really popular was when he was all nice to Zelenskyy after the terrible Trump meeting he went through. Which is exactly what Starmer should have done of course, but it just shows how much of an easy goal it is
