Due to the stigma associated, I’m guessing that it’s more likely sex workers will be designated as ‘trans’ rather than general population, due to the conservative nature of many countries.
That was my first thought too but the total is globally, so it seems like quite a small number even when considering trans people account for ~1.4% of the world population which would be about 113,036,000 people.

I’m with ya buddy. There isn’t a single thing I can do, no number of petitions I can sign, that will change a dam thing. No company loses profits to be good for the planet, they only ever do it because they are forced/regulated to. So I vote Green.
I also try to avoid buying shit that just ends up in a landfill, repair/re-use as much as I can.
But it doesn’t matter, we’re fucked anyway. At least I won’t have any guilt. In the meantime I’m going to mountain bike as much as possible before the collapse.
