I don’t know if it was really so much of a shock. I saw so many people saying that Texas was trending blue, but every single one of them did not mention the 2022 election in which Republicans swept the entire state by about 10 points. Which is about the same margin that Cruz had here.
Though the polling did seem remarkably off.
He read the polling. He knew. He knew he was about to have open reign and full American cooperation, maybe obedience is the better word there, so he knew there was no need to keep in a defense minister that in any way slowed him down. Now he’s ready to kick it up into the next gear.

Changing climate did have a major impact on all of those Empires though.
The US already has elected judges, they’re so incredibly bad we barely even bother to write about it anymore. I know people talk about who are they beholden to? But that’s the irrelevant question actually. The real problem is a judge that’s elected has to campaign. And there’s no greater source of corruption in all of politics than campaigning. No amount of patronage will ever equal the amount of corruption that comes from going around and begging rich people for money so you can be elected.
You’re reading that wrong, it’s not comparing Hamas to Israel, it’s comparing Hamas death to journalist deaths. As in which one does Israel have the better ratio on.
Has anyone ever compared Israel’s kill rate when it comes to journalists compared to Hamas? I think they have a higher ratio for the former.

I’ve been curious about this, since the United States and South Korea are both still at war with North Korea and the latter is sending troops into Ukraine, doesn’t that mean that it’s an active combat zone for both of us? Seems like all the pretext you would need to move troops into the area.
Yes the guy who said that nobody has ever been a better ally or friend Israel and describe himself as a Zionist is still the president I agree. However he’s also a lame duck president that’s going to have absolutely zero power to do anything in the next few months. Not that Congress was really eager to help him before but now there will be zero will for him to do anything.
