Well democratic (Western ones) countries don’t often show how upset they are with other western countries unless it impacts them. They may not condone actions but I’m pretty sure none of them ever liked dealing with Trump.

There’s that one picture of Trump in his first term sitting down while (I think) Merkle(sp?) was trying to explain something, there were other people in the shot and all (or mostly standing facing Trump) while he looked like a kid getting a lesson. They were okay for internal issues, well maybe not fine but mostly they wouldn’t say anything, but this round he’s fucked the world economy so yeah make sense. So I think they voiced their opinions previously as well just not in headlines as much.

Also the US has taken the lead so often, and (used to have) soft power that they managed properly.

Basically Trump (well his handlers) have effed up the social order so much it’s time to set the line. Sucks it took this long, cause all should have been done first term when the US elected a petulant child as leader.

It’d be great if the people’s voices were heard for sure. Fortunately when time comes there are more of the regular folk than them. While I don’t condone violence it sucks that they can use violence and legal issues to make their goals happen without pushback.

While growing up I used tech to make myself more intelligent, I wanted to understand how it worked and functioned. Least on a software level I’m a programmer not hardware (though may do some small projects to see at some point).

I always wonder why we fell so far, like from growing up I needed to figure out computers and ensure I could use them to their fullest. These days appears most people of a similar age don’t care cause it works.

While I see that point. it hasn’t worked that long and at this point we seem to have people not knowing where to save a word document. That’s from 3rd party stories but seems believable. I recall reading some old philosopher and they described the worst person, it was Trump. I could never find it again forget but it was Plato or Aristotle I think. There have always been those types in all of history. Somehow the US was hoodwinked into actually giving him power, rather than run him off like the snake oil salesmen he is.

I want to add, sometimes there are good (or semi accurate) articles but having to do the checks on their reporting sucks balls and not in the fun way.

Yeah like if I was them I’d arm with offerings and give the middle finger when they asked for action. They are owed for being ignored and left to fend for themselves (as I state later my understanding of the situation is almost nil, but you don’t keep allies by screwing them over) by what they thought was an ally. But everything is transactional with the memory of a goldfish for this administration.

I’ll say I don’t know the situation there well at all, maybe accepting whatever is offered with the suggested actions is in their best interest. I hope they can make a decision that doesn’t screw them over in the long run (not by their choice for sure to be clear), whatever is needed. Mean being on the wrong side of the CIA has never helped many either. Conflicts suck and it’d be nice if we could figure out how to resolve things peacefully, though I guess that idea belongs in a fairytale these days.

I manage a bunch of code that has to handle that sort of thing, since no customers have complained I haven’t had to check into it. Now that I’ve typed this I imagine I’ll get an issue next week cause last person who did it wasn’t so great with that stuff. Seems to work so easier to let it be till it doesn’t.

When you can justify your actions due to a fuzzy theological belief it’s quite silly. I am an atheist but if there is a god, he gave us the power of reasoning and logic. Then if there is that, why is there any logic to disobey one of ten major rules for humans to live by? I don’t doubt that the actual people pulling the strings (I’ll say 2025 unsure if it was religious sided but think it was) are quite religious. Wait typing this thing out made me realize the fault of people is not understanding when we’re wrong least the higher ups. So many of us can’t stand saying we’re wrong. I’d rock to tell the US it’s okay to be wrong, take your licks and come play with us again. But they’re too ornary.
