Only if they’re forced on sidewalks.
Build some actual, good, wide bike paths, then they can be shared with scooters.
The main problem with BYD cars is that they are heavily subsidizing by the Chinese government.
Great, then every BYD car sold in the US helps bankrupt the Chinese state.

Following the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, 14-year-old Valery “kept going on about this Ukraine,” his grandmother recollects.
“He expressed his opposition to the war,” she sighs. “He asked, ‘Why did we attack our brothers?’ and things like that. And what could I say? I replied, ‘It’s not for you and me to say!’ How would we know? Who are we? And we ceased discussing this subject.

Web services require someone’s work, time, and resources. That someone needs to eat.
The question boils down to: Who provides that someone with the means to live?
Taken to its logical conclusion, that would mean no more search engines, video or image hosting sites, or actually any websites that aren’t tied to a paid service, financed by taxes or donations, or provided by hobbyists as a pastime.
The question remains: Why should someone pay the cost of providing you a service or hosting a website, if you won’t pay with money, your data, or by seeing ads?

You can get them to kill through rigorous drills that automate a soldier’s reaction, so opening fire in the right situation becomes almost like a reflex. But that takes time, and Ukraine didn’t have enough of that for enough soldiers.
This has been a “problem” for commanders in all wars throughout history. Personally, it’s a fact that restores my faith in humanity.
Didn’t you read any of the news of fire breaking out in munitions factories and manufacturing plants all over Russia? Or the memes about Ivan carelessly smoking at work?
That’s absolutely not how the nazis’ war crimes were handled post-war.
Only those with a direct active role and sufficient knowledge were charged in the post-war trials.
90+% of the SS members just went right back into their pre-war jobs.
(At least in the western part, the Soviets were much more…thorough in their de-nazification.)
Also, a janitor in a civilian building will never be an active combatant by any stretch of international law, no matter which organisation they belong to.
