Yes 90k missing at the same time roughly, and their business is selling you services to look for those people. Pretty sure you can’t look for a lot of missing people in China if you like your freedom or your life, the Party won’t like it if you try to uncover their dirty deeds.

China disappears people and does not have accurate statistics about it, with heavy censorship. Even catastrophes have extremely suspect statistics.

I live in a poorly insulated apartment. It’s very cold in winter and heating it to 19°C all the time would cost around 500€ a month.
The problem is the choice of materials and the designs… no good shade against the sun (I have shutters and that helps a bit), concrete walls that give off tons of heat for days (impossible to cool by airing out at dawn after 3 days of intense heat during the day), no provision for AC or proper ventilation (it’s built on top of the foundations from an old farm with a nice cellar it could have natural ventilation from there chilling the living spaces).
Here’s to my solvency hopefully outlasting this madness.

I drive a small EV that does 14 kWh/100 km, that’s 4.44 mi/kWh. The charger is not 100% efficient though.
