Jimmy Kimmel updates: Show returns after suspension over Charlie Kirk comments

The late-night talk programme will resume on Tuesday following "thoughtful conversations", says Disney.

Jimmy Kimmel will return to air on Tuesday after his show was suspended following comments he made about the death of Charlie Kirk, Disney has said in a statement released in the last few moments.

“Last Wednesday, we made the decision to suspend production on the show to avoid further inflaming a tense situation at an emotional moment for our country,” the statement says.

“It is a decision we made because we felt some of the comments were ill-timed and thus insensitive. We have spent the last days having thoughtful conversations with Jimmy, and after those conversations, we reached the decision to return the show on Tuesday.”

    I don’t care if you want to gatekeep your torrent sites for only people who conform to your specified kind of corporate nice-speak.

      lemmy.dbzer0.com has plenty of boards that can help you get started, and there is one specifically for open signups. qBittorent + a VPN + Jackett as a qBittorrent search plugin will facilitate most needs - you don’t need to be a member of private trackers to get most media.

      Flying the pirate flag made perfect sense as a response. People are not going to bend over and spam links even if it were allowed; you didn’t specifically ask for help - don’t expect it.
