Im looking to start a dear22 build here shortly but it seems like theres no real good info as far as a BOM and build guide, am i looking in the wrong places? I have the meatbannana one downloaded and skimmed through the files but it seems like im missing a pdf guide or something, Does anyone have any tips? looking to do a 7.5 or 9" barrel
I am also wondering about a guide or build video. I figured with this being such a popular build that there would be more literature or a video.
I have everything but the handguard printed, but am curious on the charging handle. The read me gives general instructions but just says to use a “short 1/8” Allen key”. I am also wondering if it should be glued into the charging handle and if the slappy knob should be glued to the end of the Allen?
Maybe once I get to building it will be very intuitive and that’s the reason there is no need for docs.
That’s what I’m assuming. But pictures are always nice 😂
There’s a guy on the 3D2A sub that’s making a guide btw. He DMd me and sent pics, nice dude. He could probably help you if you have questions.
For the OG one you may also need a tap to tap the grip screw threads and a screw for handguard. Other than what other people already said I think that’s it.
I just finished building mine is just like building a normal AR-15.
What parts did you need? ar15 FCG 22lr Bolt 22lr barrel ar15 safety
anything else?
Ar15 lower parts kit with FCG, 22lr bolt (I used the PSA one) 22 lr barrel i got mine from right to bear and that pretty much all you need
Think this one would work?
Yes sirrr. Look into the PSA bolt and buying a separate barrel from right to bear you might be able to save some monies.
