How can I access the pdf Readme? FTN 4 opens just fine. It just tells me the file is corrupted. I got it from the sea and every other thing i got there opened fine as well.
The “top level” readme is not a PDF, it’s a Markdown file (which is just a text file that follows certain formatting standards). If you’re on Windows, try opening it in Notepad.
All the lower-level PDFs I’ve been able to open just fine.
That’s odd, and you are the first person to describe that. Anybody else able to confirm this?
Is it all the PDF’s or just one?
btw it says Adobe Acrobat could not open ‘Readme.md’ because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged ( for example it was sent as an email attachment and wasn’t correctly decoded). To create an Adobe PDF document, go to the source application. Then print the document to Adobe PDF. I will try to get it to open with notepad but wanted you to know what it said word for word in case anyone else has an issue. doubtful tho it’s probably just me lol
for the FTN 4 the read me opens just fine, this is the only one that I have issues with. It tells me it’s corrupted, when I get home I can report the exact message I received when trying to access it.
Can you try redownloading the file and trying again?
I’m not having this issue and I haven’t seen others report it.
