I haven’t attempted this yet but there is also https://www.openpewproject.org/ which has a customizer tab where you can put in all the needed info and upload your can and it will emboss it in a downloadable stl. Seems pretty cool regardless
That’s super cool! Guess I’ll have to make one of those too!
With this info, you don’t even need to buy tags, just put it on the suppressor in a way that you can’t destroy the SN without it also destroying the suppressor.
I’m gonna form1 waaaayyyy more than just 6 cans now.
did a little digging and it seems that its not as easy. It looks like its only for the OP9 silencer and it cost money, around 10 dollars to support the dev of. That’s great, but I would probably open fusion or your cad of choice and engrave it there like you were saying. sorry for the misinfo
For the FTN suppressors I’ve just been putting in my text directly via the Bambu slicer. Works great.
Huge shout out to OpenPew. Join the OP9 Matrix and tell him you love him.
Orca let’s you emboss text into parts, just select the type ‘cut’ so instead of protruding the text it makes the cavity of the text, you can select font and size, super convenient and easy, can put the text anywhere you want in the print, I’ve done that in a couple of lowers just to add some flavour to my prints lol
