I’m intrigued that a random apprentice knows who Maul is. I’m guessing our new apprentice is about the same age as Ahsoka, maybe a little younger, so I wouldn’t think Maul would be well known.
Although I suppose once the Clone Wars get started and the name “Darth Tyranus” starts floating around a full history of the Sith makes sense. Still, surprising.
Also should be interesting to see Maul win over his new apprentice. I’m guessing the Inquisitors get called in at some point and defeat her old master, then leave assuming they’ve taken care of the Jedi, missing Maul and his new apprentice.
Didn’t Maul lead Crimson Dawn? As shown in the Han Solo movie. If that is the case then I think it’s possible her master pointed out that Maul was a former Sith apprentice.
So the timeline for this show is a short time after the end of The Clone Wars, which puts it around 19-18 BBY. The Solo film where we see Maul is around 10 BBY. This show is Maul running Crimson Dawn, although publicly Dryden Voss is the leader of Crimson Dawn.
Which is to say I don’t think the Jedi know exactly what Maul is up to until he pops up on Mandalore in the Clone Wars finale, and even then he’s working with Death Watch publicly, not Crimson Dawn.

Ah, yeah you’re right, Solo is after this. Got my timeline messed up, they’ve got an interesting dynamic. Looking forward how it plays out.
