Hey yeah that’s a current limitation I’m working on. Hoping to have the enhancement done by this weekend. If you don’t want to wait I can manually doctor your eft for you. Granted, that’s more privacy invasive vs going 100% through the site but it’s up to you.
Honestly I think it could still look quite nice in the 2 piece and wouldn’t require anyone to reprint a ton (unless they used the monolithic trunion in the first place)
FWIW I’ve got word of plenty of people getting approved with my tool and have yet to have a single person request a refund for theirs getting denied due to fingerprints. I think it’s just going slow right now.
This is awesome - it’s something that’s bothered me from day 1 with mine. Now we just need to fix the gross contour between the rear receiver section and the trunion. I may even have a go at it. Time to buy a whole lot more filament lol.
In terms of models I recommend the APB3 on the bambu app. There may be a reupload on Odysee. The only mod I did was print the pin out of pacf SIDEWAYS instead of vertically. Good luck

Grateful to have been featured this latest edition but even when my designs aren’t, I enjoy catching up on things I missed when these come out. Especially valuable now that Reddit is dead to us, making the information more scattered
I think gyroid baffles in metal cans work well becaus they create a ton of surface area for the metal to cool the gasses. That means the can absorbs more heat tho. With plastic cans I think the baffles would just melt faster lol. Maybe worth a shot with 22
