This is the one thing that always bothered me about the 3dp90. To me it always looked way too long so I redesigned a shorter stock that will work with the same length bolt guide rods and springs that are used in the brace option. For anyone that may be interested I will upload this to my Odysee page tomorrow. I had some help from Stainedglasses44 and just wanted to credit him as well.

That’s dope, when I glanced over the files I though it was a long boi, this mod looks neat!

Any chance the butt can be made of tpu, or does it need to be rigid for the bolt?

Might come up with some two piece butt + pad if that’s the case

I think it could be a possibility like the bigger one has. On this one I thickened the inside of it where it would normally have the bolt cut out area because the bolt doesn’t come back far enough to interact with it anyway. I also did this to the area where the springs and guide rods insert. I had some help from Stainedglasses44 on this as well.

This is awesome - it’s something that’s bothered me from day 1 with mine. Now we just need to fix the gross contour between the rear receiver section and the trunion. I may even have a go at it. Time to buy a whole lot more filament lol.

Honestly I think it could still look quite nice in the 2 piece and wouldn’t require anyone to reprint a ton (unless they used the monolithic trunion in the first place)
