Don’t get me wrong, I’m loving the $0 stamps, but it has kind of ruined the cachet of “Two Stamp Tuesday”. lol

Build details: DB9-22 (Phoenix Design Works SS receiver) in Siraya PPA-CF, Carbon Folder stock, MM Soaked Noodle grip, mag and grips in PCTG. FTN.5 Rimfire Flowthrough in Siraya PPA-CF (annealed). I didn’t appreciate how big the FTN.5 was until I printed it, but I really like the looks on this build (makes it look much more “serious” than just a 22LR plinker).

Yep, PPA-CF is my go to for “keeper” builds. For a centerfire FTN I’d probably go PA6, but PPA has more than enough impact strength for rimfire.

Interesting. So far, I’ve only been printing cans. I’ve been using PA6 for that.

What are the advantage to PPA over pa6? I’ve never printed that filament at all.

PPA-CF has roughly twice the tensile strength and stiffness of PA6-CF and performance isn’t moisture sensitive. Impact strength is worse (only 25 - 30% of PA6-CF) so for some things PA6-CF is a better choice. PPA-CF also needs higher print temps (up to 320°C) to get full performance so it’s not viable for all printers.
