i know i remember seeing him say somewhere that hes getting really nice results with .6 nozzle at .12(?) layer height and .5(?) for the rest of the lines.

my question is are those the actually the correct settings or am i misremembering? i been trying to find where i saw his post but im starting to think this may have been Mandela Effected

Yes! Use my settings for all of it and change all the line widths to .5 and the layer height to .12! The rest of the settings I use the same as my .4 nozzle settings. I have changed my Z height top support gap to .23!

300blk you’re the fucking mannnn. Thanks so much for those settings. Been wondering for awhile. How long did it take you to dial those settings? Also. Once saw someone saying you put out a Pla setting. Never could find it. Is that true?

I probably spent a year or so really tinkering back and forth. I do have some PLA settings that work pretty dang good. I can upload a 3mf file to my Odysee with them on there. I have incorporated the fuzzy skin into them to allow the lines to basically disappear. I run my fuzzy skin at .07/.07 to do this, but I’ve also changed up support settings, jerk, and acceleration to help as well.

Damn. A year printing nylon couldn’t have been cheap. I used kgs of pla trying to grasp calibration/slicer settings etc. Then tried nylon cf, It was perfect first try. Couldn’t believe it.

Some pla settings would be greatly appreciated. I think it’d help a lot of ppl learn. For example I always thought aligned seams were too weak. Then I saw your settings. Asked the boys on Reddit, they confirmed aligned is the way. At least for pa6.

If you have a minute could I ask a few more questions? I don’t want to wear out my welcome bombarding the general discussions thread.

It works really well. However, it’s still not as good as running a .4 nozzle with my settings. I really done this with the .6 for those people that kept asking about a .6 nozzle and for those times that we get bad/cheap rolls of pa-cf. I used Sunlu pa6-cf in my testing which was the cheapest I came across at 17 bucks for a 1/2kg.
