General Discussion@forum.guncadindex.com•Form 1 guide for SBREnglish
2·12 days agoYou’ll need to specify the barrel length and overall length. Don’t end up shorter that what is on the form. There is some variation on the process between building a SBR from scratch and manufacturing a SBR from an already existing serialized firearm.
It’ll ask for photos.
Any existing SN should be clear, the eform will tell you what it needs to show.
That didn’t apply to me, so I used the same generic filament picture for cans on a few. Still waiting, but I was late to the party.

General Discussion@forum.guncadindex.com•This info deserves its own post. Using this verbeage, form1 suppressors can use serial numbers embedded in the cans from the slicer without metal.English
1·14 days agoI tried this for a can, a SBR and a AOW. Now it’s hurry up and wait.

3·20 days agoIf you’re wanting an optic up front of the rear sight the ultimak will probably be your best bet. Any standard railed handguard will not hold zero. AKM pattern is the most common and a lot of the handguards out there will fit it. Anything Yugo, Serbian, krink, etc won’t fit.
Another red dot option is the Attero mount that replaces the rear sight leaf. I have five of these and all have held up for years.

A lot of folks were having issues and I know there was chatter last night… Thought it was all fixed

2·20 days agoI’m assuming like the other poster your changing the receiver.
Look for the updated V4 with the additional material in front of the rejection port.
It will be some work to do it right but as long as your other hard parts are okay it’s doable.
Your other alternative is a metal receiver. Also doable, but more work for the rivets for an arguably better result.

It’s been a available for 4 years and no one is talking about it, which says a lot.

3·24 days agoI like using a pocket for a m5 nut that’s under the trigger. The m5 is smaller than the factory grip screw but if you’re breaking m5 grip screws you’re doing something very wrong 😅
I really avoid using bolts in plastic threads if possible.

1·1 month agoOn hold. Printed trip bar version works but I had issues with the first metal bars, so that needs to be revisited. The metal is thinner than the plastic which affected release a bit.
It’s a fairly involved project and testing/development is slow going on my own, plus mag dump testing 308 gets expensive fast.
I used the generic filament picture.
A few descriptions, most started that materials will be acquired and manufacturing will occur after approval of form 1
